I'm a sophmore in highschool right now, picking my schedule for junior year. I'm not sure whether I should go with AP Computer Science A or AP Computer Science Principles.
I've had experience with coding, because I'm taking a Computer Science with Programming Emphasis class right now using JavaScript, and I taught myself HTML and CSS. So learning Java wouldn't be that big of a deal.
I want to major in Computer Science when I get to college. Which one would look more impressive to colleges?

Hi Hannah - AP CS Principles should better prepare you for CS major and deals with a number of general programming concepts. It is also a more rigorous course with emphasis on theory which is more relevant if you are going to study computer science in college. You can post this question in Eduniverse or Groups for others to see and provide feedback (we dont have AP CS group but there is Programming Group and we just saw someone started general AP group so feel free to ask in a few places).
