On July 5th, we are thrilled to launch our first Girl Genius virtual Conference, packed with exciting STEAM-related workshops and panels. We will be holding workshops that encompass all five components of STEAM: Bioinformatics, coding, data science, AI, AR/VR, 3D-modeling, founding businesses, and Adobe Creative Suites. Our panelists will discuss the process of applying to college as a STEAM major (Accepted to Caltech, Columbia, Duke, UIUC, UWash, Yale, USC), navigating STEAM in the workforce, working at companies, like NASA, how to found your own business, and much more!

This initiative’s founder, Karina Popovich. is a 3D printing activist, founder of clothing brand Wear Alpha, and student at Cornell University who is passionate about closing the gender gap in engineering. ⁣
