The internship is a free four-week program during which a cohort of socially-conscious high school students gain hands-on experience, build leadership skills, and form intergenerational connections with older adults. Summer Teen Intern
Want to make a difference this summer? The DOROT Summer Teen Internship Program welcomes highly motivated and socially conscious rising 10th-12th graders who want to make a difference in the lives of older adults. Over the course of 4 weeks, interns work with peers, develop leadership skills, and form meaningful connections through a variety of hands-on intergenerational experiences in the community and at program sites. Students earn over 100 hours of community service and develop hands-on leadership experience.
