RSC Director @ RoundPier
RoundPier is launching its RoundPier Student Coalition. This is a selective council for RoundPier’s student organizational leaders, project managers, ambitious students, and school leaders. Individual students and student organizations are encouraged to apply and take part in this RoundPier-sponsored program.
If you are in leadership of a student organization, project, nonprofit, or business, RSC will be a tremendous opportunity to meet like minded students, grow your organization on RoundPier with our support, and recruit new members.
If you are a student looking for extracurricular opportunities, RSC will be where the largest and most active student organizations on RoundPier congregate and recruit. We’ll also be informing RSC participants of jobs/internships/competitions before they’re posted publicly on RoundPier itself.
Below is additional information about the RSC and how it benefits you in your extracurricular search and development of your interests:

RSC will also verify student organizations for college admissions (especially if they’re not 501c(3) affiliated). This will work by granting student organizations bronze-silver-gold-platinum statuses based on their work as filed through a monthly report of activities and a check-in with a RoundPier representative. Placement into these statuses can be used to give your organization legitimacy and recognition in RoundPier’s network, as well as your local community. Gold and Platinum statuses are selective and indicative of student organizations performing at an adult-level nonprofit. There will be few organizations if any on RP reaching platinum status.
Letters to colleges confirming validity and extent of student organizations may be requested and used to augment your college application.
RoundPier’s student coalition will hold meetings biweekly and participating student organizations will send 1-2 representatives. These meetings will take place two or three times a day to account for differing time zones. All members of an organization must have a RoundPier profile and contribute to the community. All participants must have RoundPier profiles with a reasonable level of completion.
Individual students looking to join RSC can attend the webinar meetings as they like to discover new recruiting organizations, internship opportunities, and get involved with RoundPier’s community. Especially during this time of school closures, we encourage students to attend and further their extracurriculars online.
RSC is an opportunity to get to know what RoundPier events/competitions/opportunities are coming up. You’ll get first-hand access to information about competitions like RoundPier’s recent entrepreneurship challenge. If you’re an organization, you’ll be given more recognition on RoundPier by being on RSC, and will have access to online training seminars for boosting recruitment, getting legally incorporated, and other organizational activities. RSC allows students to be the first ones to apply for RoundPier internships, get RP’s sponsorship for school clubs, and boost your extracurriculars and stand out in the college application process.
Here is the signup form for RSC below. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact Sean Cai on RoundPier.
