Hey everyone! The Global Trail Project is looking for a wide variety of young adults between the ages of 14 and 24 years old to fill several roles. After seeing how the COVID-19 pandemic increased the prevalence of xenophobia throughout the world, I created The Global Trail Project in an attempt to bring young adults together to teach one another about their cultures. We hope to humanize the lives of young adults from around the world in order to further increase our understandings of one another through the utilization of social media and articles written by our staff. Our goal is to recruit ambassadors, writers, and team members from around the globe.

We are looking for ambassadors to share their culture and background with the world through social media takeovers, short documentaries, and question and answer sessions. Ambassadors will primarily use Instagram to share their culture. They will be assisted in the production of five to ten minute documentaries that will be posted on both YouTube and Instagram for our followers to watch. These documentaries will be filmed by ambassadors and edited by video editors. The ambassadors will essentially be the face of our organization. All ambassador applicants are eligible to be invited to apply for our executive board.

Through their literary compositions, we rely on our writers to share their culture with the world and to accomplish our organization's goal. Writers will share their culture and backgrounds through articles that explore their country/state/city's government, culture, and uniqueness. Articles will be published on The Global Trail Project's website, and stand-out articles will be posted on the organization's Instagram. The ultimate goal of the writer program is to share information that politically and culturally interested young adults will use in their future careers to ease international relations through their increased understanding of different cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. All writers have the capability of being promoted to an editor.

We are also looking for young adults to fill several positions to keep our organization going and flowing smoothly. We are looking for webmasters, graphic designers, cultural and political affairs directors, video editors, an outreach director, and a social media director. Time commitments range from only five hours per month to twelve hours per month. Certain jobs have additional director positions.

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON JULY 5! If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to comment on this post or to email globaltrailproject@gmail.com . Applications are available at linktr.ee/... ailProject . Please not that all positions are unpaid and simply exist for team members to explore interests.

We look forward to reading everyone's applications from all over the world!

New opportunity for aspiring international relations, political science, and cultural studies majors!

I started an organization called The Global Trail Project as a reaction to the increased prevalence of xenophobia and racism due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the USA. GTP hopes to connect students from around the world through a variety of different programs. Our ambassador program allows students to utilize our social media to share their culture with others, and we are also looking for writers to write articles about their culture. We’re also looking for a wide variety of team members, ranging from graphic designers to video editors. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to contact me, and go to @globaltrailproject on Instagram for more info!
