What colleges are in my reach?
I’m not good with standardized tests like the ACT of SAT, however I am retaking them in October. I have a big love for teaching, kids and writing. I have also spent a lot of time volunteering over my high school years.
Hi Heather - you can post in Eduniverse or US College Apps Group to see if others can provide more feedback. You have a good profile and will have a range of schools that you can target. We would recommend to start with state schools especially if would like to pursue education major. State schools tend to prepare well for a teaching career and will generally be much cheaper. For VA, have you looked at VCU and JMU? Also, if you get your ACT up Virginia Tech could be a good option and has pre education major.

Liberty University... what do you know about it?
Hi Heather - we don’t know much about it. It definitely has some focus on religious education so if you would like to be a part of a large Christian university it is a good fit. There are a number of smaller private colleges where religion plays a big role on campus.
