Free the Bird is seeking a proactive and experienced Community Leader to spearhead the creation and nurturing of our Discord community from the ground up. This role is pivotal in fostering a supportive and engaging environment where individuals can openly discuss mental health, share experiences, and advocate for mental wellness. As a Community Leader, you'll be responsible for setting up the Discord server, implementing rules and guidelines, and ensuring a safe and respectful dialogue. Your expertise in Discord functionalities, along with your passion for mental health advocacy and community building, will be instrumental in creating a thriving online space. Along with establishing the server, you’ll manage daily operations, moderate discussions, and collaborate with Free the Bird team to coordinate events and initiatives within the community. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical skills, community engagement, and mental health advocacy to make a genuine impact. Experience with Discord and a strong understanding of its features are crucial for this role.
