With early decision results coming in we see some interesting trends:

- stats still play a big role in ED/EA but it appears there are plenty of students with below average stats admitted early
- particular focus on why the applicant wants to attend a particular school
- for students with lower SAT scores applying to test optional schools worked really well (University of Chicago is a good example)

For those still applying, good luck!

Remember - whether you got in, rejected, or wait-listed does not reflect your long-term success. An application is an application. What matters more in the long-run is your ability to work hard, being able to work with others, and developing resiliency.

Congrats who got the results they wanted, and best of luck to others who are applying in the RD round!
