Do we have a chance to get into MIT as an international student without participating in any international olympiads?
Yes but really depends on many other things. Not all MIT students are winners of international olympiads. But many international students asking for financial aid typically have some top awards. And there are olympiad winners who get rejected by MIT every year. I wouldn't waste time trying to participate in these competitions purely to attend a particular college. In fact, my advice would be to stop worrying about one college but create a list of schools that you have a decent chance of getting into and attending.
I agree! The issue with top US colleges and international students is that unless you are prepared to pay for it and don't stand out as an applicant your chances are very low. It doesn't mean you shouldn't apply but you better have plenty of other options in your country or elsewhere
Okay... Thank you
